Weinberger named top doc at physicians’ group The $83M-revenue American College of Physicians has named Steven E. Weinberger executive vice president and CEO, effective July 19. He succeeds outgoing ACP head John Tooker, who will remain on staff as associate executive vice president for one year, said an ACP media release. Weinberger has been ACP’s deputy executive vice president since 2009. Earlier, he was ACP senior vice president for medical education and publishing.
